in the outhouse

 

the old order

finally succumbed

dead on the toilet

self-asphyxiated

panties

over her head

her legacy smeared

on toilet paper

vile currency

of empire

passed from hand

to hand

smelly fingers

licked

by demon children

squealing rat-hordes

from the pit

terminal light

flickering

in verminous eyes

last flare

of the cannibal sunset

Poet's Notes: Hillary Rodham Clinton, imperialist warmonger, is the Democratic Party's 2016 nominee for president of the United States. I long for her political demise and for the ruin of the military-industrial death machine that she represents.  As a clinician, I observe that only the terminally insane are drawn to the Oval Office.
