"Sky High" by Sierra July, Frequent Contributor

Sky High
Sierra July

You grab my hand fast,
Slow, our fingers intertwine
Our path climbs, though not uphill,
Not on road, dirt lane;

We trek atop clouds,
Alone in full azure sky
I have no worries or cares,
For if I fall, I

Know you will catch me.

Poet’s Notes: A Valentine’s-themed piece, this one capturing the magic of a simple outing with a significant other.
