Rain Music
Carol Hamilton

Rain’s drip and plunk
Need cornices and gutters,
Puddles to drum
In this morning’s band.

Poet’s Notes:  This little poem is just a response to the delight of sound as a morning rain made music, and I hoped to, too.

Editor’s Note:  “Rain Music” was originally published in Porcupine.
