Review of "This is My Life" by William Stanley Braithwaite

"This is My Life" by William Stanley Braithwaite (d. 1962) (pictured), a former creative writing teacher at Atlanta University, was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on October 20, 2013.  A link to the poem may be found here:

The poem is in the form of an Italian sonnet and uses a rather plodding iambic pentameter.  The language is straightforward, a celebration of a life lived to the fullest and with no regrets.
