Review of "Gone" by Lia Purpura

"Gone" by Lia Purpura, Writer in Residence at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on October 16, 2013.  A link to the poem may be found here:

The language chosen by the poet is straightforward, and the poet's musings about death, while not terribly original or illuminating, are easy to understand and strike a universal note.
