Review of "On 52nd Street" by Philip Levine

"On 52nd Street" by Philip Levine, the Poet Laureate of the United States from 2011 - 2012, was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on September 2, 2013.  The language is gritty; the setting is a bar in New York City; the mood is at once nostalgic and blue.
