Review of "The Throats of Guantánamo" by Katie Ford

"The Throats of Guantánamo" by Katie Ford was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on August 15, 2013.  According to the poet's notes, the poem is inspired by the revelation of suicides at Camp Delta in  Guantánamo.  There is quite a bit of bird imagery and reference, perhaps related to the notion of homing pigeons or the Bird Man of Alcatraz.
