Review of "Year of the Tiger" by Miguel Murphy

Year of the Tiger by Miguel Murphy was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on June 7, 2013.  The poet reveals in his notes that his poem was inspired by a bacchanal a friend of his throws every Chinese New Year.  The homosexual, drunken, mystical undulations really sing through in this poem.  I felt like I was there and wanted to leave but also somehow irresistibly wanted to stay.
