Review of "Private Memories" by Michael Haynes

"Private Memories" by Michael Haynes appeared in Daily Science Fiction on May 20, 2013.  "You are a woman whose lover uses his ability to will the world back in time in order to change your history and spend a little more time with you."

Mr. Haynes attempts to use the second person POV to make his story more immediate and poignant and almost achieves his goal; there are the inevitable times when the use of this device is intrusive, but they are at a minimum.  No explanation is given for the MC's ability to will the world back in time, requiring more than the usual suspension of disbelief to really enjoy this otherwise well-told tale.  3 out of 7 rocket-dragons.
