Review of "Lyam" by Jez Patterson

"Lyam" by Jez Patterson appeared in Daily Science Fiction on May 2, 2013.  "A pair of human parents are learning to care for their adopted alien baby."

I expected this story to be cheesy, but it is not.  It is interesting that certain aspects of parenthood are universal, whether the child is a perfect little human boy or a perfect little slime-covered alien.  6 out of 7 rocket-dragons.
