Review of Breakup by Grace Seybold

Breakup by Grace Seybold appeared in the January 2013 issue of Star*Line.  It is refreshing to see a speculative poem in the form of a rhyming Shakespearean sonnet complete with ending heroic couplet. Ms. Seybold avoids the danger of being too restricted by use of the form and instead allows the form to enhance her presentation.  There is even a nice moral lesson to be learned by reading the poem.  Creative, poignant, and powerful.  Brava!
